First look at LEGO NINJAGO summer 2026 sets

The LEGO NINJAGO designers have shown off a first look at the summer 2026 sets, including new Dragons Rising and Legends builds.

Unveiled in a live video hosted on Recognised LEGO Fan Media Masters of Brickjitzu’s YouTube channel, these nine new LEGO NINJAGO summer sets join the previously-revealed 71867 X-1 Ninja Charger, and will presumably be released on June 1. We’re still waiting on confirmation of that particular detail, but you can check out first images of the sets below.

71862 Lloyd’s Dragon Mech Battle Pack

This entry-level LEGO NINJAGO set features Lloyd in his new dragon suit piloting a small green dragon mech, alongside minifigures of Jay (with new-for-2026 golden claws) and a loyalist, who’s wielding a sword that reuses the Darksaber blade from LEGO Star Wars. 71862 Lloyd’s Dragon Mech Battle Pack will apparently retail for $9.99 in the US and includes 81 pieces.

71863 Zilvar and Gramtak

Coming in at 232 pieces, 71863 Zilvar and Gramtak is a NINJAGO: Dragons Rising Season 4 set that dives deep into new story beats and characters. Alongside its eponymous buildable creature Gramtak, who represents a cross between a gorilla and a dragon, are minifigures of Nya, Kai in his full dragon form – with claws, wings and a tail – and Zilvar.

71864 Kai and Cole’s Combiner Vehicles

Vehicles that combine are a staple of LEGO NINJAGO as much as dragons and mechs these days, and here comes 71864 Kai and Cole’s Combiner Vehicles to continue that trend. The 394-piece set includes Cole, Kai in his dragon armour and a brand new ice monster, while the included bike and buggy can both split in two and reconnect with one another to allow for multiple configurations.

71865 Zane’s Ice Dragon Battle

The first LEGO NINJAGO 4+ summer 2026 set includes 141 pieces and four minifigures: Sora, Zane and two exclusive variants of the acid monster with printed legs. The model combines an ice dragon with a giant version of the acid monster alongside some buildable scenery, but it’s all as simple as you’d expect for a set targeted at younger fans.

71868 Wyldfyre’s Transforming Dragon Mech

LEGO NINJAGO has been leaning into mash-ups of its key tropes lately, and we’ll be seeing that approach again this summer in 71868 Wyldfyre’s Transforming Dragon Mech. The 821-piece model includes six minifigures: Wyldfyre with a new torso and face print, Sora, Arin, an ice monster, an acid monster and Empress Beatrix with a brand new torso. She also gets her monster form to battle against the fully-articulated dragon mech, which can transform between those two states with ease.

71869 Land Bounty

This summer’s take on the Destiny’s Bounty reimagines and updates the land-faring version of the vessel with 71869 Land Bounty, which comes in at 1,214 pieces. This one includes an exclusive fire monster, an acid monster, Nya with a brand new waist-mounted scabbard, Jay, Zane and Lloyd in his ultimate dragon form. And it’s actually a 3-in-1 set of sorts: various sections of the model can detach to form a bike, buggy and airship.

71870 The Twin Titan Mechs

The LEGO Group is pushing out the final two Titan Mechs in a single box thanks to 71870 The Twin Titan Mechs, which adds Kai and Nya’s white-tinted models to the collection. The 1,707-piece model is branded NINJAGO Legends (and features the same cool box art as last summer’s Legends range as a result), and includes minifigures of Kai and Nya in new mech pilot suits and a new Oni warrior. There are also additional headpieces to turn Kai and Nya into Jin and Mira, who are rumoured to be descendants of the original ninja.

71871 Battle at the Dragon’s Blade

The second LEGO NINJAGO Legends set on the way this summer is 71871 Battle at the Dragon’s Blade, a stunning display set that features a dragon and mech battling atop a dragon skull with a katana piercing its mouth. Jin and Mira are here in full, alongside Master Ivo and an exclusive Oni warrior variant. We’ll find out more about those characters in future episodes of Dragons Rising, but the focus here is really on the 1,016-piece, 360-degree display model.

71872 Ultra Dragon Battle

Last up is a LEGO NINJAGO Legends take on the theme’s most iconic four-headed beast in 71872 Ultra Dragon Battle, a 2,178-piece set that includes minifigures of Jin, Mira, Nate and an Oni general. The display model depicts the battle between the Ultra Dragon and the Great Devourer, situated atop a black display base with a little bit of landscaping, and rounds out a trio of summer 2026 sets targeted at older NINJAGO fans.
