First 2026 rumour spotted for LEGO Art, taking a trip to Japan

LEGO Art is rumoured to be heading to Japan next year, according to the very first 2026 rumours for the theme now circulating.

According to fresh rumours reported by Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat, LEGO Art could welcome 31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape. While no rumoured release date or window was given, it was shared alongside other 2026 rumours, so it's logical to assume 31218 is expected to come out next year as well.

The rumoured price is $139.99, potentially putting it somewhere between 31216 Keith Haring – Dancing Figures and 31215 Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers. If the rumoured name is any indication of the set, it wouldn't be the first time that the LEGO Group has taken inspiration from Japanese aesthetics, what with various bonsai trees in LEGO Botanicals, LEGO Architecture 21060 Himeji Castle, LEGO Icons 10315 Tranquil Garden, and even LEGO Art's own 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave.

Of course, it's far from confirmed just yet, so take the rumoured details with a pinch of salt for now. We won't know for sure what's coming to LEGO Art until we get an official reveal from the LEGO Group.
