Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer gets a LEGO recreation

An aspiring animator has created a LEGO version of the recently released trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Marvel’s tentpole summer movie release will be The Fantastic Four: First Steps, due to arrive on big screens around the world on July 25, 2025. That’s the date that Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch and the Thing will join the MCU at last as part of the studio’s Phase Six masterplan.

Following a teaser trailer for the film having recently dropped, talented fan animator Trevor Carlee decided to make his own LEGO version, alongside a follow-up side-by-side video comparing his creation to the official footage.

Using a familiar jerky animated LEGO style, the impressive fan-made version of The Fantastic Four: First Steps teaser manages to accurately capture the look of the movie character’s in minifigure form, along with brick-built versions of the Baxter Building, the robotic H.E.R.B.I.E., the Fantasticar, world-devourer Galactus and more.

Of particular interest is the animator’s take on the Thing, which combines a bigfig body with a standard minifigure head. Recent rumours suggest that 76316 Galactus vs The Fantastic Four may be arriving sometime in June 2025, with the only potential LEGO Marvel set based on the movie so far said to include a minifigure version of Ben Grimm’s rocky alter ego.

There’s been no official confirmation regarding 76316 Galactus vs The Fantastic Four to date, so do treat all such LEGO Marvel rumours with caution for now.
