Every LEGO Star Wars AT-ST Walker revealed to date

With 75417 AT-ST Walker launching next month, here’s a look at every version of the two-legged LEGO Star Wars vehicle released and revealed so far.

LEGO Star Wars fans can expect to add yet another massive UCS build to their collections on August 1, 2025, when 75417 AT-ST Walker stomps into view. The 1,513-piece model was officially announced earlier this week and is the second large-scale iteration of the vehicle revealed to date, following in the footsteps of 2006’s 10174 Imperial AT-ST.

However, the upcoming set isn’t the first brick-built AT-ST we’d had to date, nor is it likely to be the last. In fact, there have been multiple versions of the ‘chicken walker’ released over the years, including all of the following LEGO Star Wars sets:

1 – 7127 Imperial AT-ST

LEGO Star Wars 7127 Imperial AT ST

The first-ever LEGO Star Wars AT-ST was launched in 2001 and was comprised of 104 pieces. Standing over 19cm tall, 7127 Imperial AT-ST had a moveable head and legs, an opening cockpit and a Chewbacca minifigure.

2 – 4486 AT-ST & Snowspeeder

LEGO Star Wars 4486 AT ST Snowspeeder

This mini building set dropped in 2003 and was a 2-in-1 release that included models of both an AT-ST and a Snowspeeder. Comprised of 76 pieces, the LEGO Star Wars build also came with additional parts for making a TIE Bomber.

3 – 10174 Imperial AT-ST

The LEGO Star Wars UCS line-up welcomed its first AT-ST in 2006, with a model that measured over 47cm tall and was assembled from 1,068 pieces. 10174 Imperial AT-ST was a slightly fragile build though, but one that featured a detailed rear engine and moveable guns.

4 – 7657 AT-ST

The largest minifigure-scale AT-ST released up until this point arrived in 2007. 7657 AT-ST consisted of 239 pieces and stood nearly 29cm high. This time around, the LEGO Star Wars set also came with its own dedicated AT-ST Driver minifigure.

5 – 8038 The Battle of Endor

One of the few Endor base LEGO sets in the portfolio, 8038 The Battle of Endor, includes a buildable AT-ST with a walking function, modernising a familiar design with impressive functionality.

6 – 30054 AT-ST

Demonstrating the vehicle’s versatility as a much smaller build, 30054 AT-ST stomped into LEGO Star Wars collections in 2011. Even with just 46 pieces to play around with, the polybag model still managed to capture the overall look of the walker.

7 – 9679 AT-ST & Endor

LEGO Star Wars 9679 AT ST Endor

Released as part of the LEGO Star Wars Planets series, 9679 AT-ST & Endor appeared back in 2012. Made from 61 pieces, the model featured a printed front cockpit element and name plate, as well as an updated AT-ST Driver minifigure and Endor display globe.

8 – 75153 AT-ST Walker

Spinning out of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in 2016 came 75153 AT-ST Walker. Built from 436 pieces and standing over 28cm tall, the vehicle boasted poseable legs, head and guns, along with an opening cockpit and three unique minifigures.

9 – 75184 Advent Calendar AT-ST

The second smallest AT-ST on this list could be found inside the 2017 LEGO Star Wars advent calendar. Comprised of just 14 pieces, the tiny war machine just about managed to replicate the look of its much larger cousins, despite its diminutive size. As pointed out in the comments, this particular design may be an AT-DP, but it's hard to say for certain due to the small scale.

10 – 75201 First Order AT-ST

The only iteration of the two-legged vehicle to be based on its appearance in the sequel trilogy was 2018’s 75201 First Order AT-ST. The 355-piece LEGO Star Wars set had a wheel at the back to rotate its head, duel spring-loaded shooters and three minifigures.

11 – 911837 AT-ST

Given away as a free gift with multiple issues of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine, the first version of 911837 AT-ST arrived in 2018. Built from 48 pieces, fans were still able to construct a fairly decent replica of the iconic Imperial vehicle.

12 – 75254 AT-ST Raider

Inspired by the first season of The Mandalorian, 2019’s 75254 AT-ST Raider managed to reach 26cm tall and consisted of 522-pieces. Unlike previous takes on the machine, this set opted for a customised look with brown and red legs, plus multiple printed elements.

13 – 40362 Battle of Endor

The 40362 Battle of Endor gift-with-purchase comes with two miniature AT-STs to complete an iconic scene from movie history.

14 – 912175 AT-ST Raider

Following in the footsteps of the larger model above came 912175 AT-ST Raider in 2021. Another free LEGO Star Wars magazine foil bag gift, the 53-piece set incorporated a moveable head and legs, as well as the mixed colour scheme of the vehicle.

15 – 75340 Advent Calendar AT-ST

LEGO Star Wars 75340 Advent Calendar AT ST

2022’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar included the smallest AT-ST that’s been released so far. Assembled from just 13 grey pieces, the tiny walker certainly looked the part, even if detail was ultimately sacrificed for scale.

16 – 30495 AT-ST

LEGO Star Wars 30495 AT ST

Dropping as a Star Wars Day promotion in 2022 was 30495 AT-ST, a 79-piece polybag free with qualifying spends. Unfortunately, the overlong legs of the model did skew its proportions slightly, resulting in a less-than accurate build.

17 – 75322 Hoth AT-ST

LEGO Star Wars 75332 Hoth AT ST

Things were back on track in 2022, thanks to the arrival of 75322 Hoth AT-ST. The 528-piece model featured an accessible cockpit, a wheel-operated head, two spring-loaded shooters, poseable legs, three minifigures and a brick-built Probe Droid.

18 – 75332 AT-ST

LEGO Star Wars 75332 AT ST

Representing a more junior take on the Imperial walker was 2022’s 75332 AT-ST. Aimed at a 4+ target audience, the 76-piece set came with a small buildable Endor scene, a speeder bike, three minifigures and a drastically reduced AT-ST model.

19 – 75366 Advent Calendar AT-ST

LEGO Star Wars 75366 Advent Calendar AT ST

The most recent LEGO Star Wars advent calendar version of an AT-ST popped up in 2023. Featuring 16-pieces, tiny proportions and two forward blaster cannons, this take on the walker is just about as simple and basic as they come.

20 – 75417 AT-ST Walker

LEGO Star Wars 75417 AT ST Walker featured 1024x576

The biggest AT-ST ever revealed, 75417 AT-ST Walker launches next month and has been recreated using a whopping 1,513 pieces. Fans can expect a two-person cockpit inside, a rotating head, moveable weapons, printed information plaque and an exclusive AT-ST driver minifigure with printed arms.

Honourable Mention – 8001 Battle Droid

lego 8001 at st

The LEGO Technic 8001 Battle Droid figure can be rebuilt into an AT-ST with the official instructions. While the primary build isn't an AT-ST, this interesting entry into LEGO AT-ST history is still worth a mention

75417 AT-ST Walker will be released on August 1, 2025, and is available to pre-order right now on the US online store, with the LEGO Star Wars model priced at £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99.
