Every LEGO set retiring in 2024 – July update

The summer of new LEGO sets is here but don't let that distract you from the retirement of hundreds of models, including some later this month.

The life cycle of LEGO sets goes from their design process to their retirement and for many models, the latter is approaching. Retirement comes for every LEGO build eventually and this month, we'll be waving goodbye to some notable entries.

This month's retiring update is noteworthy but the years beyond have seen plenty of movement and you can take a look at what has changed for 2025 onwards by clicking here to head to our dedicated page, which is updated regularly

Still, it's important to keep in mind which LEGO sets are retiring soonest as they may go under the radar with the summer 2024 releases now on shelves. The likes of 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole and 10338 Bumblebee could draw your attention over the sets leaving production soon too.

Here's your latest monthly update on what's retiring at the end of 2024 as well as at the end of July. Keep in mind that all of these dates are subject to change and there will likely be a few major updates before the end of the year.

LEGO Star Wars retiring sets 2024

LEGO Star Wars' selection of retiring sets for 2024 has not seen any major changes this month and the likes of iconic dioramas, an Ultimate Collector Series cantina and more are all still up for retirement in December.

LEGO Ideas retiring sets 2024

After 21336 The Office moved into the list last month, the 2024 range of retiring sets for LEGO Ideas still includes many unique models. Minifigure collectors may want to focus on 21339 BTS Dynamite for its fashionable torsos and exclusive faces.

LEGO Marvel retiring sets 2024

LEGO Marvel enthusiasts have an exciting month ahead with the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine and you might want to mark the occasion by picking up 76250 Wolverine's Adamantium Claws and 76257 Wolverine Construction Figure before they retire.

LEGO Harry Potter retiring sets 2024

Though the list of retiring LEGO Harry Potter sets for 2024 remains unchanged, it's one of the most important themes in this month's update as both 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower and 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit are retiring at the end of the month. The former is currently on sale for 30% off on LEGO.com too.

LEGO Indiana Jones retiring sets 2024

It's business as usual for LEGO Indiana Jones as the return of the theme seems to be over for now with the entirety of its sets retiring at the end of 2024.

LEGO Technic retiring sets 2024

While 42153 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is a notable set in the 2024 LEGO Technic retiring set list thanks to the upcoming 76935 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, don't forget about the likes of 42152 Firefighter Aircraft and 42155 The Batman – Batcycle either.

LEGO Icons retiring sets 2024

The LEGO Icons retiring set selection for 2024 seems to have calmed down after a small update last month, now including everything from 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery to 10320 Eldorado Fortress as one of the most varied ranges in this report.

LEGO Architecture retiring sets 2024

It shouldn't come as a surprise that LEGO Architecture's selection of retiring sets for 2024 still includes just 21056 Taj Mahal and 21057 Singapore after the theme moved to a limited annual range.

LEGO NINJAGO retiring sets 2024

While we wait for the second season of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising as well as the interim Wyldfyre-centric multimedia campaign to start, we'd point out that 71793 Heatwave Transforming Lava Dragon includes the original Wyldfyre minifigure and is retiring at the end of 2024.

LEGO DREAMZzz retiring sets 2024

The first wave of LEGO DREAMZzz sets is still planned to retire at the end of the year, including the odd but enticing 40657 Dream Village and 71457 Pegasus Flying Horse with the rare Nightmare King minifigure.

LEGO Batman / DC Super Heroes retiring sets 2024

LEGO DC and Batman enthusiasts might want to pick up 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box soon as the massive build is still up for retirement at the end of the year.

LEGO Super Mario retiring sets 2024

It's an important month for LEGO Super Mario as the theme's first starter packs are finally going to retire at the end of this month, as well as plenty of other Nintendo-based builds. Of particular note is the massive 71395 Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block.

There's not long left until the next wave of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets hit shelves but don't forget that four of the theme's first builds are scheduled to retire at the end of 2024.

LEGO Creator retiring sets 2024

LEGO Castle enthusiasts without the space or budget for the larger and more expensive models will want to look into picking up 31120 Medieval Castle soon as it's still included in the list of LEGO Creator sets retiring in 2024.
