The LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection is rumoured to be finished, but it's missed more than a few characters ahead of its reported end.
While it should be taken with caution, Promobricks reports that the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection will not continue in 2024 as the focus shifts to another collection of models.
However, the collection would be ending without covering many iconic helmets and droids so here are just a few that we somehow never received an 18+ set for.
8 – IG-88
IG-88, or any of the droids of the same make, is a recognisable robot that has appeared in many forms of Star Wars media, including a recent inclusion in a new form in The Mandalorian. Considering the detail of this character's head on-screen, it could have made for an interesting LEGO Star Wars helmet.
7 – Phase II Clone Trooper
Despite the release of
6 – Battle Droid
More prequel trilogy LEGO Star Wars helmets, especially to display alongside
5 – Bo-Katan Kryze
With a slightly different shape from some Mandalorian helmets, Bo-Katan Kryze could have made a good pick for the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection. Breaaad on Rebrickable demonstrates how the armour's profile can be recreated in LEGO.
4 – Captain Phasma
With a minifigure and a BrickHeadz to her name, Captain Phasma might not have needed a third kind of LEGO depiction as much as other Star Wars characters but the chrome-domed captain could be a unique addition to the collection.
3 – Royal Guard
The Royal Guards are as intimidating as they are monochromatic but as Albo.Lego has showcased, that wouldn't make for a bad LEGO Star Wars helmet build.
2 – Kylo Ren
As the central antagonist of the sequel trilogy, it's surprising that we've not received a Kylo Ren helmet, though then again, there are no helmets for the sequels at all. Still, the character's recognisable armour could be an interesting take on a LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection entry.
1 – C-3PO
While R2-D2 has many LEGO Star Wars models, C-3PO is limited to minifigures and 8007 C-3PO. The character is perfectly suited to the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection as Albo.Lego demonstrates with a yellow build. Ideally, it would be entirely drum-lacquered gold but realistically, pearl gold would suffice.
