The Australian online LEGO store has given us an early clue about a new GWP joining the double points event tomorrow.
After the LEGO Group confirmed that LEGO Insiders will be able to earn double points on all purchases between January 29 and February 2 earlier this week, the Australian online LEGO store has just launched a fresh GWP, 40886 Penguins in Love.
Revealed at the weekend, it seems that the Valentine's Day freebie will be available between January 29 and February 6, if the Australian dates are anything to go by. Promotional events like this one can vary from region to region, so best to check back on the shop where you are when January 29 begins in your timezone.
That said, 40886 Penguins in Love is available on all LEGO orders over $130 AUD, which would convert to around £65 / $90 / €75. That feels quite a low minimum spend for a 278-piece GWP, so we'll have to wait for the promotion to go live in other regions for confirmed minimum spends. If you've been in two minds about any January LEGO releases, double points and a fresh GWP could be the perfect time to pull the trigger from tomorrow.
