Double LEGO Insiders points on selected sets may start soon

A new double points offer on select LEGO sets has launched in some regions ahead of tomorrow while extending the life of a gift-with-purchase too.

It's officially January 14 in Australia and while the rest of us wait to see what the future of offers on LEGO.com holds, the region might be extending a preview of what to expect. As well as extending the free 40707 Year of the Snake to January 19, a double points event has just started for LEGO Insiders in Australia too.

Unfortunately, it's not double points on every single set, but a curated selection. Keep in mind that there's no guarantee that this deal will come to the rest of the world starting tomorrow, but it's common for major offers to come to every official storefront around the world.

Either way, the selection seems likely to change at the very least. In Australia, many Seasonal models and three Monkie Kid sets are available with double LEGO Insiders points until January 28 – just before the 2025 Lunar New Year.

80055 Monkie Kid's Team Power Truck would be a great set to pick up with double points worldwide thanks to the array of uncommon elements and its limited availability, essentially getting you a 10% discount on the £59.99 / $79.99 / €69.99 model with some rare minifigures too.

Otherwise, there's no telling whether this deal will make its way overseas tomorrow, never mind with the same selection of sets. Hopefully, the global relevance of the Lunar New Year and the links these models have to the event are signs that the rest of the world will be able to score double points on them soon.

In the meantime, it would appear that an extension to 40707 Year of the Snake isn't out of the question either. Later today, it will stop being available with qualifying purchases in the UK, the US, and Europe.
