If you've been wanting to get your hands on LEGO GWP 40769 SEGA Genesis Controller, you might be running out of time.
The LEGO Group has sold out of 40769 SEGA Genesis Controller in the UK, meaning shoppers in other areas of the world should get their skates on to avoid disappointment with the retro GWP. After launching on September 8, stock has officially run out in the UK as of today (September 12).
While the promotion is running worldwide until September 18, available on all orders over $130 in the US and from €130 in Europe (excluding pre-orders), the sell-out success in the UK is proof that stock doesn't always last the full time. You never know if GWPs are going to make a reappearance, so if you're keen to get your hands on the 260-piece gaming build.
The model includes stickers to personalise the controller for regional variations on the name (Genesis or Mega Drive), along with a stand to display it on. Around the back, you can also find a brick-built microscale diorama of Sonic the Hedgehog’s Green Hill Zone.
Head to LEGO.com to put in an order of more than $130 / €130 to score 40769 SEGA Genesis Controller while you still can. If you buy 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship, for example, you can stack two GWPs with the set-exclusive LEGO compass freebie as well.
