Those who won’t be able to get their hands on 40507 I Love Billund can always assemble their own mini-build of an exclusive LEGO House model.
This year’s LEGO House exclusive set was recently revealed in the shape of the 1,404-piece 40507 I Love Billund. While picking up the model will require a pricey trip to the Danish city, the option to a assemble a companion mini-build to sit alongside the larger set (and all from the comfort of your own home) is now available.
In the YouTube video below, LEGO Master Builder Didac Perez Soriano takes viewers through the process of constructing a special mini-build that's been created to celebrate the recent release of 40507 I Love Billund.
Intended to be a tribute to the birthplace of the LEGO brick, the Billund Sign appears to use fairly common elements that are likely to be in most fans’ collections or pieces that should be readily available via the Pick a Brick service.
According to Promobricks, the LEGO House Billund Sign may have been inspired by a similar and bigger model that was recently displayed at last year’s Skaerbaek fan event.
The LEGO House Billund Sign features two green circular bases, complete with decorative flowers, along with a basic silhouette of the Billund skyline on a white background, all topped off with a red brick-built heart.
40507 I Love Billund is currently available for visitors to purchase at the LEGO House Retail Store in Billund for a limited time priced at 749 DKK, as well as from LEGOLAND Billund.
