LEGO Ideas is inviting brick-built designs for a future gift-with-purchase geared towards LEGO City and modular building displays.
You could design a future GWP in the LEGO Ideas City Life Creations challenge, where the Ideas team want you to design a vendor cart that would pair well with LEGO City sets or modular buildings. The winner of the challenge will have their design made into an actual LEGO GWP, as well as win a copy of 10350 Tudor Corner.
The world is your oyster in terms of what kind of cart you want to design, although the LEGO Group has offered some inspiration, ranging from coffee carts and fast food stalls to flower stands and churro huts.
The only rules are that the build must be between 150 and 200 pieces with a maximum of two minifigures, and it can't feature any motorisation, like trucks, vans, mopeds, or scooters. Instead, it should be the more traditional cart. It also can't feature and logos or third-party IP, so keep any merchandise or food unbranded. Last but not least, the design should blend seamlessly with LEGO City and modular building displays.
Entries are open from now until December 10, and you can read all the guidelines in full and submit your entry via this page. Shortlisted sets will go into a Fan Vote, and any design that goes into the fan vote will receive four LEGO sets as prizes for getting that far, even if not selected as the Grand Prize Winner.
