BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 mini-build competition is open now

BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 mini-build competition is open now

Have your chance to get involved in BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 with your very own mini-build, with entries open now.

BrickLink is inviting builders to create and share their own mini versions of Series 2 Finalists in a new competition. Just like a similar competition that ended in February for Series 1, the challenge is to turn the full-sized sets into miniature masterpieces. Here's a quick reminder of each of the fan-designed sets that make up the five finalists.

You have until 12pm (PDT) on May 29 to get your entries in, which is more than enough time to dream up a mini version of any of the detailed sets. There are a few rules to remember, the most important of which is the size of the mini-builds. They must use between 10 and 300 total pieces and not measure more than eight studs in length, width, or height. As an added bonus, try and stick to the BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 Palette, although that's not a must.

You can see the full rules and how to submit your entry (with some important guidelines to be aware of) by visiting the BrickLink Mini-Build Competition page. Remind yourself of all the details for Series 2 here, ahead of when crowdfunding begins on June 6.
