Beat the coming price rises with latest Argos LEGO deals

Check out the latest Argos LEGO deals to grab a bargain on some new sets before the imminent price increases come into effect. 

The LEGO Group has already raised prices in a number of countries around the world, with the UK and Europe next in line on September 1. The coming days represent your last chance to shop for many LEGO sets at their current RRP, with Argos applying a raft of discounts to provide you with prices that may no longer be available next month. We’ve put some of the best deals into the table below.

Highlights across these sets include a first-ever discount on LEGO Ideas 21332 The Globe, ahead of what's likely to be a significant price increase come September 1. This may be your only chance to pick it up for its current price of £140 at Argos. Elsewhere, there's a third off 21321 International Space Station, which is retiring at the end of 2022 – so it's now or never for this deal.

For LEGO Star Wars fans, this is one of the earliest discounts we've seen on the most expensive of the three new dioramas, with a tempting 20% knocked off the price of 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama. That's a saving of £16 on its retail price.

Also available at Argos right now are several discounts that aren't as clearly signposted. We've combed through all of the retailer's sets to pick out some of its hidden deals below.

LEGO Technic set 42128 Heavy-Duty Tow Truck is among the highlights of this sale. The RRP of this is set to rise to £160 next month. Available now for £130, there’s technically a 13% discount on this right now. However, when compared to what the RRP will be next week, that represents a saving of 19%. 

Likewise, this sale gives you an 11% saving on fellow Technic model 42141 McLaren Formula 1 2022 Race Car as it stands. However, this set’s going up to £170 very soon, meaning this price is 16% off what that RRP will be in a matter of days. 

Elsewhere, there are a couple of retiring sets to take notice of, especially in the context of the upcoming price increases. 76183 Batcave: The Riddler Face-off will retire this year, and could be available at a lowest price before that with 25% off in this sale. 

75955 Hogwarts Express is also available at a 25% discount ahead of its retirement this year. It’s also a final chance to get your hands on a cheap version of the iconic Hogwarts Express before the new one comes out with a price tag of some £430.
