We're not sure what Ghost Rider benefits from with a mech, but at least it's led to an especially cool LEGO Marvel model in 76245 Ghost Rider Mech & Bike.

There's no villain to fight in
The mech-appropriate bike is surprisingly detailed, with interesting proportions that look well-suited to the included mech. The chopper-style appearance of the bike is synonymous with the Johnny Blaze iteration of the character. Other than rolling wheels, there are no functions to note as a great deal of effort has gone into how it looks, which thankfully pays off.
The mech is more sparsely detailed by comparison, with a suggestion of Ghost Rider's leather jacket and a few spikes to evoke a punk aesthetic. The orange, angled elements that make up most of the limbs seem to represent the firey nature of Ghost Rider, but it looks a bit tame compared to the giant flames coming out of the bike.
There must have been an opportunity to use some of the many LEGO flame elements to embrace the blazing power of the character during development. Unfortunately, the mech feels a bit bland without them.
However, the biggest design flaw with the mech is that it can't raise one leg over the seat of the bike without breaking off part of its waist in the process. No matter how you approach it, there's simply not enough movement in the legs and while you can manually attach the mech to the bike, it's a shame that you can't pose the model like this.
The attachment between the mech and the bike works fine, though it looks a bit awkward as the mech leans back a long way. Still, it can grip the handlebars and looks undoubtedly cool riding the giant bike. Combined, the two models are great but separately, the mech's flaws – both major and minor – are on show for all to see.

Ghost Rider minifigures have been relatively rare across LEGO Marvel, with only three appearing to date. The first was in 2016's 76058 Spider-Man Ghost Rider Team-Up, based on Johnny Blaze. Next came 76173 Spider-Man and Ghost Rider vs. Carnage in 2021 with a minifigure of Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider. Now, in 2023,
The new minifigure's jacket is undamaged and it adds some value for those who already have the 2016 set. Plain black legs are featured and while some printing would have been great, it's not strictly necessary for this character.
The flaming head piece continues to be used and it's an ideal fit for Ghost Rider, easily making it the most eye-catching part of the minifigure. A chain accessory is included for when you're fighting out of the mech, but there's nowhere to store it when it could have been wrapped around the mech's chest. Without built-in attachment points, it's unfortunately a bit too short for that.
The minifigure is another great iteration of Ghost Rider in LEGO with just enough differences from the previous Johnny Blaze minifigure to make it worth your time.
