LEGO Star Wars 75383 Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator is proving to be a hard set to recommend fully in its early reviews, but its minifigures are helping.

It's too expensive, despite the number of pieces

Even at £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99 with 640 pieces and four exclusive minifigures, the set remains just too expensive for some and waiting for a sale is recommended.
"$70 is a lot of money and yes, the piece count is 640 pieces with four exclusive minifigures so it's right on the money as far as price-to-piece ratio and minifigures go, but $70 is a lot for what's here," commented MiniSuperHeroesToday. "While it's a great build and really dense, I think it's wise to wait for a sale on this even just to shave off $5 or $10."

"I think it's really funny how Saw comes with this walking staff but at the top of the staff is the perfect piece for Darth Maul's lightsaber," explains MiniSuperHeroesToday. "You only get one of this piece in the set – I think it would have been cool for there to be two or for it to be coloured for the lightsaber."
Darth Maul's new minifigure officially uses the standard lightsaber element but there's little doubt that LEGO Monkie Kid's staff piece is a great fit for a dual lightsaber, ideally in metallic silver.
Saw Gerrera makes up for shortcomings
While the standard minifigures are good, there's even more praise for the debut of Saw Gerrera designed specially for the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars. The colouring of the armour is discussed too, though there seems to be nearly no reason to worry.
"When this minifigure was revealed, there was a lot of conversation online over him being dark green whereas in the movie he does have a slightly lighter green tint but when you see the minifigure in person, it doesn't bother me at all," explains MiniSuperHeroesToday.
Overall, the exclusive Saw Gerrera minifigure appears to have been worth the wait and it might make up for some of the set's shortcomings and its price.
"I am going to tentatively recommend this set at $70, only because of how much I love this Saw Gerrera minifigure," decides Solid Brix Studios. "I am willing to pay the extra $10-15 upfront on day one to buy this set."
