Two LEGO sets for the holiday season have been revealed on the official online store – 40640 Nutcracker and 40642 Gingerbread Ornaments.
40640 Nutcracker and 40642 Gingerbread Ornaments are coming later this year, revealed ahead of their launch closer to Christmas. They're the latest in the LEGO Group's annual collection of decorative holiday models.
It might be summer, but it seems that it's never too early to get ready for the holiday festivities and you can take a closer look at the models below.
40640 Nutcracker
Price: $12.99 Pieces: 208 Release date: October 1, 2023
40640 Nutcracker offers a similar build to 2017's 40254 Nutcracker, complete with a rebuildable face and hair and functional mouth. Exactly how good it will be at cracking nuts has yet to be seen.
40642 Gingerbread Ornaments
Price: 12.99 Pieces: 190 Release date: October 1, 2023
Perfect for hanging from the tree, the customisable 40642 Gingerbread Ornaments include everything you need to decorate your own gingerbread character before hanging them around your home. Hooks are provided but ribbons and strings are not, so you'll need to source something to hang them with separately.
