18+ LEGO Pixar set rumoured for 2025

A new LEGO Pixar set is rumoured for 2025, said to take the form of an 18+ model with a relatively affordable price tag.

Adding to the recent rumours and list of LEGO Disney sets reported for next year is 43279 from the reliable lego_minecraft_goat. The source states that this will be an 18+ model with 811 pieces for $69.99. Nothing more is rumoured but it seems unlikely that this will be the upcoming LEGO Ideas Pixar Luxo Jr. build judging by that set number.

Instead, this seems more likely to be in addition to the LEGO Ideas Pixar Luxo Jr. set. A Pixar counterpart to 21352 Magic of Disney with exclusive minifigures would be appropriate, but there's a more plausible option.

2025 will mark the 30th anniversary of Toy Story and an 18+ set celebrating the Pixar franchise would be ideal for 2025, especially since the fifth Toy Story movie isn't being released until 2026 and it would be too early for a model based on the next film.

Both of these options are only speculation on our part, but with 811 pieces there's a lot that an 18+ LEGO Pixar model would be able to cover. The source uses LEGO Pixar: BrickToons as the background for the rumour story which features Cars, Brave, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Coco. It's not clear whether this has been used simply as a relevant background or as a hint towards the identity of the rumoured set.

For now, take 43279 with plenty of caution ahead of its reported release date of September 2025 as the model joins the list of LEGO Disney sets rumoured for next year.
