$170 LEGO Icons car now rumoured to be an AC Cobra

A fresh rumour update for a LEGO Icons set is now said to be named AC Cobra, rather than the previously expected Dodge Viper.

A new rumour from Clay Bricks now states that the LEGO Icons set with the number 10357 is expected to be named AC Cobra, rather than Dodge Viper, as previously reported. There’s also an expected piece count of 1,241 pieces, as well as the previously rumoured price of $169.99.

Made by British company AC Cars with a Ford V8 engine under the hood, the AC Cobra was produced on and off in both the UK and later in the US between 1962 and 1967. The two-seater roadster featured a sleek design that was thought to be outdated, harking back to car design patterns from before the Second World War.

Although it was adapted into various different drag options, the core design was a sleek road car, often sporting stripes on the front hood as in the picture above.
